Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026
DDM Metering Systems, Inc. (“DDM,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates the website ddmmeter.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy covers this website only. Utility billing and meter data handled under a service agreement with a property owner or manager are governed by that agreement, not by this page.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, phone number, company and message you provide.
- Usage data. Our analytics provider records pages visited, approximate location, referring site, and browser and device type.
We do not ask for, and this website does not collect, Social Security numbers, payment card details, or financial account information.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide information about submetering services.
- To prepare a proposal or quote when you ask for one.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic. Google sets cookies and processes that data under its own privacy policy. Our Cookie Policy explains what is set and how to control it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the request, and are deleted when no longer needed for that purpose. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s standard retention period.
Service providers
We use a small number of vendors to host this site, deliver email and measure traffic. They may process information on our behalf and only for that purpose.
Security
This site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your California privacy rights
DDM is a California company. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used.
- Request a copy of that information.
- Request that we delete it.
- Request that we correct information that is inaccurate.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on those grounds.
To make a request, email info@ddmmeter.com or call 866.302.3400. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
This site is intended for property owners, managers and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Links to other sites
Our site links to resident and property manager portals operated by other companies. Once you follow those links you are on their site, subject to their privacy practices, not ours.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
